THE CHIP SHOP BOYS
Light Up Cheltenham's Race Course

On Friday 5th November 1999 (Bonfire Night) I went to the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education Graduation Ball, which was held at Cheltenham's Race Course.

The Headline band for this event was the CHIP SHOP BOYS, (yes, I know I've seen them before) but this time, due to the fact that I found out they record all their own backing tapes I thought they were even better, especially as they made certain tracks that I don't normally like to listen to like STEPS bareable to hear.

I also thought they did very good covers of THERE SHE GOES originally by THE LA's, 5,000 MILES, and the best of the night, an incredible version of GEORGE MICHAEL's LETS GO OUTSIDE.

The only track that did not work for me was GIMME HOPE JOANNA.
